I think you are right. I've seen this video one other place with the description indicating it was a o/b marine engine.

in the youtube there's a sand buggy running an evinrude v8. almost got one for my opel, but when i went to look it over the block was cracked.

Good catch. I didn't dare traipse too long in the youtube comments but they said they were not planning on using it in a watercraft. I guess that's an indicator of it's origin.

From what I understand, it's a boat motor. Not sure how the fuel injection and tuned expansion pipes affect it though.

i love my dirtbike... even if every time i hop on it the good ole 2 stroke powerband tries to kill me. too much fun and oh so cheap(relatively)
